Dragon’s Blood is one of the most commonly used inks and a fantastic first ink in your magickal tool chest. Dragon’s Blood adds energy to any working it’s used in, and as such is suitable for just about any spell. Especially helpful in matters of protection, power, good fortune, dispelling negativity, banishing, purification, inner strength, confidence, authority, and healing. It may also be used to add the influence of Dragon energy to your work. It is associated with Jupiter and Mars. The most precipitous time for use is during the waxing moon.
This ink has been handcrafted under the waxing moon with Dragon’s Blood resin (Dracaena cinnabari or Draceana Draco) and essential oil of Cinnamon or Myrrh. Some suppliers of Dragon’s Blood ink use red resins from other plants, as true Dracaena Cinnabari is a more expensive option.
