Custom Handmade Book of Shadows

This is a beautiful, antique aesthetic, Book of Shadows, personally handmade by me. You may customize the cover design, fabric, and path (Individual or Coven) of the included pages. These Books are my passion; they contain the information in my own Book of Shadows, which I have included on this site, and are the culmination of over 25 years of research, study, spellcrafting and magick work.

This is hefty tome is actually two books that fold into one, and separate back into two for ease of use. The first is dedicated to actual spells, rituals, tarot journaling pages, recipes, and pendulum charts while the second contains all the reference information – about witchcraft, spell-casting, divination, and herb, crystal and other correspondences. The books, when combined, may be locked to prevent access.

The cover is bound in faux leather cloth, which has been waxed for added sheen and some stain resistance. The interior of the cover is lined with cloth fabric, frayed at the edges, in a print with the main color being selected by you.

The book uses a 3 ring binder mechanism with no booster (the part at the ends to help open the rings), so that you can add and remove pages to customize it perfectly to your needs. I struggled with the decision to use 3 ring binding as opposed to a hidden post binding; while the latter gives the look of a permanent binding, when used on larger books with many pages it prevents the pages from laying flat unless something is placed over the book to hold them down. I post-bound my first handmade Book of Shadows, and I loved the look but it just wasn’t functional enough for me. The ring binding blends functionality (lay-flat, removable, repositionable pages) with the antique aesthetic of the book.

The pages are printed on parchment paper, with blank pages in the back for your own additions. Some pages have artwork, created by me, that can either be fully printed or lightly printed to allow you to color/customize it for yourself – select which option you would prefer when ordering, or if you would prefer no artwork. The pages included are the pages available to be printed on this website, in the site Book of Shadows, but with an added bonus: the book includes the spells that are sold on this site!
